Ka Band — Wideband (Ka) Radar Sometimes right after i will indeed see a police officer or highway patrol. i got a cobra radar detector a few days ago. is it legal in fl? i used it a couple of times and it sometimes beeps when there is a cop around and it sometimes dont. does it detect all cops including undercover? i am not using this as a way to speed but as a safety precaution. could there be something wrong with my radar detector or no?
